Bundle Dye Workshop
Site-specific, participatory workshop on bundle dyeing at Pie Ranch with 20 high school students. We began with a hike around the land to harvest plant materials and talk about winter plant dyeing, then printed garments and cloth with the leaves we had gathered using the bundle dye method.

Mending Parties
Beginning in 2021, the Mending Parties are an ongoing event series that provide space, tools, and skills for clothes mending. The Mending Parties took place at my home in Pescadero up until the most recent event, which took place at the Fábrica and was sponsored by the Arts Council Santa Cruz.

A Farmer’s Quilt
Co-created with Tamar Ingber, this community quilt was hand-crafted for a farmer who had served the Pescadero community for more than 20 years. Over 30 squares were sewn from scratch and submitted by community members. Tamar and I collected the squares and sewed the quilt to present to the farmer at a gathering.
